We've already seen a couple of auctions this fall; Huggins & Scott just finished their catalog sale, Mastro's Classic Collector auction closed late this week, GUU had its auction last month and new catalogs are now starting to arrive. Every auction house will try to get one last sale in before the end of the year.
Considering the economic situation and some of the negative press (warranted or not) that came with the Guernsey's sale, not to mention the approach of Christmas and I'm wondering if there might be some pretty good bargains to be found if you can scrape up the cash.
