Topps is banking on the former hosts of ESPN's 'Cheap Seats' to drive its new fictional show about the company.
There's a guy named Michael Eisner, but it's not him.
They've got some fake names and some real players guest-starring.
Topps' foray into online video production is moving toward its debut of "Back on Topps" a fictional 25-episode series set to debut this summer. St. Louis' Sklar Brothers, best known for hosting ESPN's 'Cheap Seats' will be the key characters with the last name of ...Topps. In the show, they're set to take over the company until their rich uncle sells to Eisner.
A Riverfront Times blogger got some time with the brothers, who apparently delivered the concept to Topps themselves .
