Five-time US Open champion Pete Sampras has joined the list of professional tennis players working with the MeiGray Group and its new USTA-MGG Match-Used Authentication Program.
The program, which debuted at the 2012 US Open, offers fully authenticated match-used items from the US Open and match-used and autographed items from big name tennis stars. The program benefits USTA Serves, the National Charitable Foundation of the USTA.
“I’m glad to be working with MeiGray,”said Sampras, who is competing this fall in the PowerShares Series Champions Tour with Andre Agassi, Jim Courier and John McEnroe. “And I’m glad that this new program will benefit USTA Serves.”
MeiGray also has working agreements with US Open Men’s Doubles Champions and 2012 Olympic Gold Medal Winners Bob and Mike Bryan, top-ranked men Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, John Isner,and Sam Querrey; and top-ranked women Victoria Azarenka, Agnieszka Radwanska and Sloane Stephens.
Sampras has agreed to sign items as part of this USTA-MGG working agreement with prices starting at $100.
MeiGray will also be receiving one racquet, one pair of shoes, and one shirt that Sampras will use during his PowerShares Series Tennis Champions Tour matches in Philadelphia’s Wachovia Center on Nov. 2 and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Nov. 5. Prices are:
