Premier Auctions’ latest catalog sale closed with some single-signed baseballs generating the most interest.
A Babe Ruth autographed baseball dating from 1927 or 1928 drew a realized price of $15,728 in Premier Auctions’ sale late last week.
The ball, carrying two letters of authenticity was the highest priced item in the sale of 795 lots conducted by the Scottsdale, Arizona-based company.
The top 5 items sold were all autographed baseballs. All prices reflect a 19.5% buyer’s premium which was added to the final sale price.
