Royals Holding Auction to Benefit Tornado Victims

The Kansas City Royals are hosting a silent auction featuring numerous game-worn and game-used baseball memorabilia with all proceeds going toward tornado relief efforts in Joplin and Reading, Missouri and the southern United States–all hit by a series of destructive tornadoes.

A signed George Brett baseball, game-worn and game-used items from Billy Butler and other items are being sold as part of a larger relief effort being conducted by the club. There are also items from the big league debut of rookie sensation Eric Hosmer.

Joplin is about two hours from Kansas City.

The auction is now open, and fans will have an opportunity to bid on these unique items by visiting until Friday, June 3.
