Heritage Auctions has announced that Rob Rosen, one of the nation’s leading dealers in high-end sports collectibles, has accepted a position with the auction house as Vice President of Private Sales & Consignments for the Heritage Sports Department.
Rosen is a graduate of Brooklyn Law School who began his professional career as the Regional Director of Promotion and Marketing for Atlantic Records, working with artists like Hootie and the Blowfish, Matchbox Twenty, Phil Collins and Jewel. He quickly realized, though, that he enjoyed his avocation far more than his vocation and retired from the music business to dedicate himself full time to the sports collectibles market.
Since making this switch, Heritage says Rosen "has been involved in some of the most significant transactions in sports collectibles history, buying and selling millions of dollars in value of the hobby’s greatest treasures".
“I’m very excited for this opportunity to become a part of the hobby’s leading auction house," said Rosen. "The unparalleled financial and marketing strength of Heritage creates unlimited possibilities."
