Cal Ripken Jr. has dished out possibly hundreds of thousands of free signatures. But he also sells autographs. His own and others. It’s part of a small baseball empire he’s created since retiring from the game.
Ripken’s sports memorabilia business, Ironclad Authentics, LLC is also the means to an end–supporting his other ventures.
