Another PSA 7-graded 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card has left the building. Was it a bargain?
Memory Lane Inc. sold a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle for $32,775 in it's August 2006 auction. Now, the company has snapped up another.
The most popular 1950s vintage baseball card continues to be strong.
A PSA 7 (no qualifiers) card closed on eBay over the weekend with a final selling price of $22,322. That's over $10K less than the last one ML sold as well as several other near mint copies that have changed hands this summer. Two eBay sales were recorded --one in June and another in August for $30,200 and $31,600.
The card that sold this weekend garnered only 13 bids, thanks likely to it's three-day run.
