Two Phoenix police officers found some baseball cards inside an abandoned house. Now, they're accused of stealing them.
A pair of veterans on the Phoenix police force were checking an empty house when another officer says he saw them scoop up some abandoned baseball cards and head out the door.
That officer turned them in according to the police union. The accusation is a serious violation of ethics, even though the bank that owned the house considered the cards 'abandoned property'.
Now, the officers are having to answer to the chief.
We can only hope what they're accused of stealing isn't what's depicted in the story at AZFamily.com.
