Phillies Will Sell Game-Used Gear
The Philadelphia Phillies have set their annual holiday sale and party.
The National League champion Philadelphia Phillies will host their annual Holiday Sale at the Majestic Clubhouse Store at Citizens Bank Park December 5 and 6, an event that includes the sale of game-worn and game-used team memorabilia.
The Christmas-themed event includes book signings, a Christmas tree lighting and the Phillies Charities memorabilia sale featuring game-used bats, jerseys and caps and authenticated game-used collectibles. The club has not yet released a list of exactly what items will be available to collectors and fans.
Fans attending the event are asked to help the needy by bringing canned food items to the Majestic Clubhouse Store for local food bank Philabundance. Last year nearly 1,000 cans of food were collected at the event.
In addition to the game-used items, the club will be selling on-field World Series jackets and jerseys, such as authentic cool-base home and road jerseys with the World Series ‘09 patch (customized on site), and an authentic dugout premier jacket with the World Series ‘09 patch.
The Phillies store opens at 10 AM each day.
