A Long Island man offered a vintage baseball card on eBay. A buyer bit. Now the authorities are biting back.
It's taken a year and a half, but a New Yorker was charged with a pretty serious crime after police arrested him this week for an alleged eBay scam.
At the center of it all is a '59 Mantle the cops say he offered but never delivered on two occasions to two different buyers.
Now, the district attorney's office...and the New York media... are all over the story.
