A major sports collection is on the market after a large Florida sports bar decides to change things a bit.
Champions Sports Bar in the Marriott World Center, Orlando, FL has been a gathering place for sports fans and stars for many years. The establishment is remodeling and has decided to put the display pieces on the auction block.
Hundreds of pieces ranging from common posters to unique vintage pieces will be on the block including:
Boxing - signed La Motta, Ali/Foreman penant, Joe Louis pictures, Marciano scorecard, antique pictures from late 1800's- early 1900's of champion fighters.
Football - Superbowl 1-28 Winning Team Plaques, Signed 8x10's from various Hall of Fame Players, various pictures & posters.
Baseball - Vintage Lou Gehrig model bat, Glavine Signed and various others signed Bat, Signed 8x10's from various Hall of Fame Players, Vintage ads with players selling alcohol and tobacco products, many old photos and newspaper sports pages.
Basketball - Signed Ball from various including Julius Erving, various wall posters.
Other Sports - Signed Sammy Duvall Water Ski, signed Danny Sullivan racing poster, Carol Heiss Olympic & World Champion Ice Skates, Vintage Tennis Racquets, Various old pictures, ads and posters.
