Brian Corley has been in and out of the sports memorabilia business for the last dozen years. HIs current shop in Springfield, Oregon doesn’t have as much traffic as he’d like, but a willingness to diversify and his own past experience is keeping his shop going.
The motivation? He told the local newspaper it comes down to the opportunity to be his own boss and keep doing what he likes.
And yes, new shops are opening. A couple in Arizona is hanging out their shingle in a shopping mall. They’re bringing in a couple of special guests to kick things off.
