Baseball Card Exchange

New York Baseball’s Glory Days on Exhibit

$50 Off $250 at Steiner Sports with code JETER50

Three teams. Plenty of stars. Lots of championships. Baseball in the Big Apple was a big deal from 1947-57. A new exhibit shows off some rare and quirky memorabilia.

Ebbetts Field, home of the Brooklyn Dodgers

DiMaggio. Stickball. Baseball cards in bike spokes. Willie. Mickey. The Duke.

If you’ve ever wondered how baseball dominated the sports scene in post-War America, look no further than New York. The city was brimming with baseball pride and today’s sports card and memorabilia hobby owes much to that era.

Now, a new exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York brings it all back.
