Gone but not forgotten by collectors, it's been a big week for Michael Jordan.
First, a 1986-87 Jordan PSA 10 rookie...now a 1987-88 BGS 10 1/1 second year MJ basketball card has sold for a hefty price.
32 bidders entered the fray and the winner emerged $6,438 poorer. The card was the only one ever graded 10 by BGS. For comparison, there are 70 PSA 10 '87-88 Fleer Jordans. PSA 9 Jordans generally sell for $100-150. A BVG 9 sold for $172 recently.
A game-worn Jordan jersey also sold on eBay for in excess of $5,000.
