You've got to sell a little bit of everything if you're in the collectibles business in Big Sky country. A place called the Jack 'n' Jill Boutique has a pretty good supply of vintage and modern sports cards, autographed memorabilia and other items, all sharing space with a variety of decidedly not sports collectible-related inventory.
Some of it is now missing.
The shop was burglarized a few days ago, with thieves stealing what the local paper seems to indicate is a T206 Nap Lajoie, plus other unnamed sports cards and autographs.
The crooks don't appear to have the encyclopedic knowledge of a serious collector, though.
They took some autographs that wouldn't have much value outside of the area and according to this story from KRTV in Great Falls--and left behind key pieces that could have helped them sell some of those signed baseball items.
