1986-87 Fleer Michael Jordan rookie card graded PSA 10He's been retired for awhile now, but Michael Jordan is still the king of hoops...and basketball memorabilia.

One website is offering a unique Jordan experience including images of some of MJ's most valuable and highest graded basketball cards.

The 1986-87 Fleer basketball set is worth a nice chunk of change thanks in large part to the first widely-issued Michael Jordan card.

True Jordan fanatics go well beyond that "rookie" card though. MJCollect.com offers Jordan cards and now the company is offering up some of the finest and most rare Jordan cards for free on it's website. Free to look at that is.

"Considering the graded Michael Jordan cards that exist today, it is impossible for anyone else to accumulate a similar collection because some of the cards on MJCollect.com are either literally one of a kind or are all in this collection," according to spokesman Jerry Schreiber.

The online collection leads the site's visitors on a tour of http://mjcollect.com/ Michael Jordan history in two distinct ways. First, the gallery offers a pictorial Michael Jordan timeline of Chicago Bulls career highlights and Michael Jordan stats in chronological order. Second, the website provides a glimpse at one if not the rarest and most valuable collection of Michael Jordan cards.

The extreme value of the collection is due to the almost exclusive display of cards in Gem Mint condition. The two major grading companies in the sports card industry, Beckett Grading Service (BGS) and Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA), grade trading cards based on their condition and assign numeric values to indicate their quality. Except for a handful of cards whose top existing grade is Mint, all of the graded cards in the MJCollect.com collection are graded BGS 9.5 and PSA 10, Gem Mint, or BGS 10, pristine, condition.

Some of the early-career cards, such as the Michael Jordan rookie basketball card, are among the rarest collectibles in Michael Jordan history. While other collectors have been able to amass a complete set of these early-career cards graded Gem Mint condition by one grading service, only the collection at MJCollect.com boasts cards graded Gem Mint from both services.

As visitors to MJCollect.com register with the site and view the Michael Jordan biography through rare trading cards, they become eligible to win individual Michael Jordan basketball cards ranging in value from $50 to $1,000, as well as a Fleer and Nike card collection.
