Upper Deck's presses continue to crank out 2006 football products. Sweet Spot will return in 2006 with the autograph cards and 5x7 Sweet Images.
Collectors enjoy chasing three key kinds of football cards: rookies, autographs and memorabilia. Upper Deck says it's comes fully equipped with all three of those key ingredients - plus a couple more. Sweet Spot Football (four cards per pack, SRP $9.99) returns with autographed Sweet Spot Helmet cards.
"The football card market eagerly anticipates the arrival of Sweet Spot
Football each year with its blend of unique autograph cards and the 5x7
box Sweet Images cards," said Gregg Kohn, Football Product Manager for
Upper Deck. "This year's Sweet Spot is exceptionally loaded with Sweet
Spot Signature cards and autographs of the top rookies like Reggie Bush,
Vince Young and Matt Leinart signing right on the Helmet cards."
Each box will contain one Rookie Signature Helmet foil numbered to 850
or less, one additional helmet signature, two rookie cards numbered to
699 and one 5x7 Sweet images card - on average! In addition to the
popular helmet cards, rookies and veterans alike will feature their
signatures on the leather football sweet spot in both single and dual
autograph variations.
Sweet Spot Football's regular set breaks down to: 100 regular cards; 100
Sweet Beginnings Rookie cards numbered to 699; 28 Sweet Spot Rookie
Signatures numbered to 850; seven Sweet Spot Rookie Signatures numbered
