LeBron James Upper Deck National VIP exclusive cardMJ, LeBron, Kobe, DiceK, Crosby, Bush are among those included in a set featuring Upper Deck spokesmen.

Upper Deck has produced a 16-card set of exclusive sports cards as part of the 28th National Sports Collectors Convention VIP package. Each National VIP Club member will receive all 16 cards in the Upper Deck creation. The checklist includes:

From Baseball – Cal Ripken, Jr., Daisuka Matsuzaka, Derek Jeter, Kei Igawa & Ken Griffey, Jr.

From Basketball – Michael Jordon, Kobe Bryant & LeBron James.

From Football – Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, Peyton Manning & Vince Young

From Hockey – Wayne Gretzky, Sidney Crosby, Erick Nash & Evgeni Malkin.

Collectors who purchase a VIP Club membership for ($119.00 advance price, $129.00 at the door) will receive a gift package that is valued in excess of $700. Each VIP Club member will receive the set.

Last month, eTopps offered its contribution to the VIP bag: a set of cards that "never were".

The National is set for August 1-5 at the I-X Center in Cleveland.
