There will be at least one football card set that won't cost you a dime at this year's National Sports Collectors Convention.
Pepsi and Donruss/Playoff have created a 6-card football set that is free to consumers who return a coupon that can be found at Pepsi displays throughout the state of Ohio. The coupons are available at participating grocers and no purchase is necessary. The promotion runs from July 1-30. Each consumer who attends the National and presents the Pepsi coupon at the National redemption booth will receive the following 6-cards courtesy of Donruss/Playoff and Pepsi:
The rookies featured in this set include two of the top wide receivers of the 2007 Draft in Calvin Johnson and Dwayne Jarrett and are complemented by the Browns rookie QB Brady Quinn, Vikings rookie running back Adrian Peterson and two veterans, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo and St. Louis Rams wide receiver Torry Holt.
