Topps executives (incoming and outgoing) have to be smiling when they hear stories like this. A suburban Kansas City newspaper reporter/photographer got caught up in the 2007 Topps Derek Jeter/Mickey Mantle/George Bush card mania. Unopened packs and boxes flew off the shelf as the checkout clerk at Wally World looked on. Perhaps not the smartest financial move ever, but it seems like he had fun. |
