Michael Jordan Autographed Cards Go for Big $

A group of 11 unique Michael Jordan autographed insert/memorabilia cards --all numbered "23"--has sold on eBay for nearly $2,000 per card.

It would have been appropriate if the auction had ended at $23,000. As it was, the $21,600 price tag for an unusual collection of autographed Jordan cards was quite a sum.

The 11-card lot consisted of 11 MJ autographed cards, all numbered to 23 and carrying the "23" of his jersey, drew 36 bids before closing on eBay.

Each card was from a 1998 or 1999 issue.
