Having his own insert card is just one of the perks for Cleveland Indians' pitching prosepect Steven Wright. The California native and University of Hawaii standout is finding that even second round picks get star treatment...as long as they're willing to spend time with an autograph pen.
The 6'2 205-pound right-handed pitcher decided to skip his senior season of eligibility when he signed with the Indians, who made him the 56th overall selection of the June draft.
Wright received a $630,000 signing bonus from Cleveland. Now he's getting plenty of perks even though he hasn't yet sniffed the big leagues including a deal with Topps.
