Anderson HernandezMany pro athletes are remarkably accommodating when it comes to answering large volumes of autograph requests through the mail. But....here are a couple of disturbing stories.

Anderson Hernandez, just demoted by the Mets, collects baseball cards. The ones fans send him to autograph. The young infielder is the early favorite for jackass of the year for his treatment of fan mail.

Meanwhile there is this story from the Minneapolis Star-Tribune, which helps explain why we see so many less-than-satisfying signatures these days.
