Donruss Produces Special Set |

 Donruss will try to connect with the kids at the Pop Warner championships by handing out a special promo card set that features some of the NFL's big stars.
Donruss is in Florida this week as part of their exclusive relationship with Pop Warner football. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Pop Warner held their regional championships to determine who would get to compete for the prestigious Pop Warner Super Bowl title. Held every year at Disney in Orlando, Florida, this year's championship game for the Midget Division will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN2 and the NFL Network.
Donruss Playoff will be on-hand throughout the week, distributing thousands of trading card packs and samples to kids at Disney. Donruss Playoff will not only be handing out promotional packs of trading cards, but special Pop Warner cards were created for the event. Six cards of former Pop Warner alumni were created to be distributed during the week, including Donovan McNabb, Carson Palmer and Tony Gonzalez. A tribute card of Pop Warner was also created to be handed out for kids in attendance.
"We are proud to be associated with such a great name as Pop Warner Little Scholars," said Donruss Playoff Vice President Mike Anderson. "This unique opportunity allows us to directly reach out to kids and put trading cards into their hands. Our relationship with Pop Warner has allowed us to reach out to thousands of youth football organizations across the country."
Donruss Playoff will produce and distribute over 2,000 special Pop Warner Super Bowl sets during the final games on Saturday. The packs will contain cards using the Playoff NFL Playoffs design and will feature the official Pop Warner Super Bowl logo on the card front. The players include Tony Romo, Randy Moss, Brett Favre, Calvin Johnson and Donruss Playoff spokesman Adrian Peterson and Vince Young.
