Mantle super collector and family advisor Randall Swearingen is helping the Mick’s wife and children with their goal of building a museum dedicated to #7…preferably in his home state of Oklahoma.
The only question seems to be where to put it. His hometown is a little off the beaten path, but that doesn’t mean all is lost. There’s a class AAA baseball team interested in helping bring the team to a city that’s already started to embrace one of the state’s favorite sons and one Daily Oklahoman columnist reports they’ve got plenty of Mantle memorabilia to fill the place–and some other ideas too.
