The time to take a stab at a potential star's rookie card is now.
It's July.
To NFL fans, that means but one thing. Training camp will soon be here.
As the draft fades from memory and this year's rookies begin to draw paychecks for donning pro uniforms, collectors and fans are trying to figure out which players have the best chance of making an impact.
The time to hedge your bets is nearly at hand. By October, we'll know who is setting the league on fire and prices will be through the roof.
