Topps Adds Two Red Hot Rookies

Topps has announced the player redeemable for the 2008 Topps Baseball Series 2 Red Hot Rookie Redemption # 8 is Cubs' rookie pitcher Jeff Samardzija. # 9 will be Oakland A's pitcher Brad Ziegler

The subjects for the 20-card Red Hot Rookie program have been announced throughout the season. Each Topps Series 2 Hobby Box includes one Red Hot Rookie Redemption, which can be redeemed on the company's website.

The rookie cards will be printed on Topps Chrome Refractor technology and shipped to collectors first week of November.
