Odessa, TX is high school football country, but it's also home to one of the few sports card shops for miles--one that's been around since the 1980s.
Fuel prices are driving many of us off the road, but the boom is helping some businesses in oil country.
Workers with a little extra cash are finding Cloud 9 Sports Cards and Memorabilia in Odessa, TX to be a good place to spend it.
Of course, it takes more than a few collectors from out of town to make a shop work. The current owners try to make sure they keep the customers happy, whether they're buying a T206 star Hall of Famer or a 10-cent common.
The local paper was in to talk cards with the folks who make it go--and the loyal customers.
