Dimitri Young isn't the only player with the card bug.
If you were a kid growing up in the 1990s, chances are you collected cards. You were pretty much of a nerd if you didn't.
Some of those kids grew up to have ordinary professions while others became pro athletes. The cards got packed in a box and shoved in the closet but the rediscovering has begun.
Redskins' tight end Chris Cooley is a dedicated blogger who usually writes about pro football. But with training camp still a couple of weeks away, he had some time to discover this year's football cards--and decided his old childhood hobby was worth another look.
