Thieves in two states enjoy a little sports memorabilia representing the clubs clashing in the Sunday night football game.

We're not quite sure if it was a slow news day, or if fairly run-of-the-mill sports memorabilia is now a hot topic, but two TV stations were all over a couple of snatched signed collectibles stories in recent days.

One Cowboys fan living in Philly definitely did not have a good trip to the game in Dallas Monday night. He told Fox29 items he was hoping to have autographed were stolen out of the hotel room he was staying in. He's a little generous with the estimate of value on that autographed Troy Aikman mini-helmet.

Meanwhile, a Brett Favre fan in the Carolinas had a happy tale to tell WCNC after the cops caught up to the alleged serial burglar who had paid her home a visit and intercepted a signed helmet.
