It's a kick to see yourself on a football card for the first time. Making the most of the market is also vital for the card companies who follow them like the stock market.


Their jerseys will be cut up. Their fingers will ache from signing. They'll do a round of interviews. And that's after they get done posing for the pictures that will adorn the first football cards to be released with their picture on the front.

NFL rookies get the royal treatment once they sign those card company contracts. The 1/1 insert cards can bring big dollars--bigger even than some of the legendary names that are now in the Hall of Fame.
