Not everything in the Baseball Hall of Fame is on display. In fact, you could start a nice museum of your own with what's stored in the basement.

You can spend days in the main level of the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Heck, it might take several hours just to read the plaques.

The game-used memorabilia on display tells the story of the game's history, but what is visible to the thousands of visitors isn't the whole story. One other area is filled with rare game-worn jerseys and caps dating back to the last century.

Not everyone gets to tour the Hall's basement storage facility. But if you're Mr. and Mrs. Ron Guidry on Hall of Fame induction weekend, you can sometimes discover what most folks don't. While the museum entertains its guests, mountains of other rare baseball memorabilia wait on deck.
