They arrived early in the morning to get David Tyree's autograph in New Jersey--but don't ask Giants' coach Tom Coughlin to sign anything other than Giants' stuff.

The season is over and it's marketing time for the Super Bowl champion New York Giants.

David Tyree, who made the catch that helped lead to the winning touchdown against the Patriots, drew a big crowd in Freehold, New Jersey. Some fans spent hours waiting for a chance to plunk down what would have been an unthinkable amount of money just 30 days ago.

According to the Newark Star-Ledger, Tyree seems a bit embarrassed by the whole thing.

Giants' coach Tom Coughlin was glad to sign autographs at last week's NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis, but balked when one fan brought forth a Jacksonville Jaguars helmet and asked Coughlin to put the Sharpie to it. Coughlin wasn't fired up about seeing old team's logo, though.

"I'm not signing that," Coughlin said and moved on to the next Giants item.
