Mounted Memories has begun...well...unmounting the Orange Bowl, taking out seats and other items it will sell to fans and collectors before the place is torn down. They found some unexpected pieces of history in the stands too.

Take a sneak peek and a video tour.

How do you dismantle a stadium? Mounted Memories is discovering the blueprint as it continues to complete the task of parting out one of America's oldest football stadiums before demolition.

The city seems happy since it's making money. The memorabilia company is doing OK too. Within two days of launch, sales on the web site set up to sell seats and other pieces of the place were over $50,000.

Fans of the Miami Dolphins will be pleased to know there's a little archaeology going on with some of those seats, revealing some of the team's AFL history.

The Miami Herald has another story and a quick peek at those 1966 seats.
