In the never-ending quest to find something unique to put on a baseball card, Topps' upcoming Triple Threads release will include a "President-worn" pair of shades.

Topps Triple Threads Woodrow Wilson sunglasses card

Whether it’s a DNA relic card featuring a George Washington hair, a Fidel Castro autograph or a card with an embedded dinosaur bone (2008 Allen & Ginter), Topps is continuing to push the envelope in the creativity department.

The company is now giving collectors a sneak peek of what it calls "a truly unique card" that will appear in 2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball.

The 1 of 1 President Woodrow Wilson Sunglasses Relic card is the first its kind. The book style card features a Wilson cut signature, a piece from the sunglasses case stating the dated they were given to him and the actual pair of sunglasses. The card is designed in such a way that it can actually be held up and looked through allowing the collector to have the same vantage point as the 28th President of the United States.

The card also includes a cut Wilson signature.

Triple Threads is set for a late July release.
