If you'd like to collect memorabilia from the last time a Cubs team won the World Series, you'll have to dig deep--and probably battle one auction house rep for it.

We'll soon find out if it's true that the Cubs only win the World Series exactly every 100 years.

When droughts are measured by the fact that no witnesses to the first one are even alive, you know it's been a long time.

That's all part of the challenge of collecting ancient Cubs memorabilia. While modern day fans may chase Banks, Sandberg, Mathews, Dawson, Zambrano or Fukudome, Mastro Auctions president Doug Allen prefers the likes of Tinkers, Evers and Chance.

He showed off part of his collection when the Forbes video network came calling.
