He might be the American League Cy Young award winner but his autographs were cheap this week--and the cause made it an even better deal.
He's the first Cleveland pitcher to reach 20 wins since Gaylord Perry did it in 1974.
Assuming he doesn't have a total meltdown during the final three weeks of the season, it'll be an upset if Cliff Lee doesn't win the Cy Young award.
As the big leagues' first 20-game winner of 2008, Lee could sit at home and start counting the money in his next contract, but instead he spent an off day signing autographs for a charity near and dear to him. And fans didn't need a second mortgage to grab some freshly signed collectibles.
