An Ohio public radio affiliate delves into the business of autographs and sports cards.

One is a former sports memorabilia shop owner who now travels the country in search of free autographs he can sell on eBay. Another is a long time specialist in old baseball and other sports cards who still does brick-and-mortar sales. One of his customers is just a kid who buys what he can afford--sometimes with the change in his pocket.

A radio snapshot from northwest Ohio reveals a little about the industry--those who make their living in it and whether the tough economic times are making it a little tougher for anyone to stay involved.

Listen as National Public Radio affiliate WKSU focuses on the hobby--and a few of those in it--for one of its recent feature stories.
