SCP/Sotheby's team up for a big New York auction. Grab a video tour.
The sale that gets underway today under the direction of Sotheby's and SCP Auctions is getting quite a bit of media attention thanks to some of the rare and valuable items that are up for grabs.
The live auction includes a well-known Shoeless Joe Jackson bat and a rookie year Joe DiMaggio game worn jersey among the prizes. Many of the items are Yankee-related and so the Associated Press and New York papers are jumping on the story.
