Card companies, where are you?
The RCA Dome's inflatable roof is heading for the scissors.
The roof that kept out the elements while the Indianapolis Colts played football is about to be deflated --but not destroyed.
The memorabilia-conscious Colts will slice up the roof and attach it to plaques which will sell for $60.
The deflation will take place around the time the Colts move across the street to the new Lucas Oil Stadium.
Workers will turn off 16 fans that supply the dome with air pressure, causing the ceiling to collapse within minutes. Then the fabric will be cut into segments measuring 8.5 by four inches.
The 10 1/2"x13" roof plaque comes with a 8.5"x4" piece of the Dome roof, inscription plate and a Dome picture. The item will come with a letter of authenticity signed by Colts' owner Jim Irsay.
About 80 percent of the Dome will be recycled before it is demolished in December.
