Wrestler/Collector Finds Himself on Cards

Sports card manufacturers love to latch on to well known players who know a little about collecting. For one, they make good spokesmen.

One pro wrestling organization has hit the jackpot in that department.

Matt Morgan is one of TNA's top performers--a mountain of a man who grew up like a lot of other kids in the 1980s, collecting every card he could find. He still collects and that's why he's a natural to help promote the new iMPACT! card set featuring the organization's top wrestlers.

It's TNA's second set of 2009 and their fourth effort in all since signing a deal with Tristar Productions.

In an article for SlamSports.com, Morgan recalled making some trades as a kid that brought him some nice vintage cards--and about some of the unique qualities of the set he's on.
