Upper Deck reveals the last two cards in its SPx Mystery Autograph promotion.
The final two players for the 2008 SPx Baseball Mystery Autograph Redemption set are no longer a mystery. Max Scherzer of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Alexei Ramirez of the Chicago White Sox represent the last two of seven players to be highlighted in the set.

Scherzer threw 4 1/3 perfect innings while striking out seven in his Major League debut this year. He set a new league record for the most consecutive batters retired (13) in a MLB debut. Scherzer will be card #150 in the set or “RR5” for the redemption.


Ramirez, meanwhile, earned his nickname – the “Cuban Missile” – because of his formidable mix of power and speed. The talented second baseman hit .290 this season with 21 home runs to help lead the White Sox make the playoffs. Ramirez will be card #152 in the set or “RR7” for the redemption.
