Fans lined up in the wee hours of the morning to grab bargain priced leftovers from the team's Metrodome era.
The early birds arrived just after midnight Friday...some ten hours before the doors were scheduled to open.
The Minnesota Twins' garage sale proved to be a big hit with fans and collectors who drove in to snare the contents of closets and storage rooms that were emptied in preparation for the team's move to Target Field next year.
There were autographed baseballs, a few game-used bats, lots of team giveaway items, programs from Kirby Puckett's memorial service and World Series games and giant banners and signs that hung inside the domed facility. It was all priced to move and even the stuff that was priced a little higher that it should have been found homes.
A lot of it has already wound up on eBay, but some fans bought what they did just to grab a memory or two. Watch the story from KARE-11:
