We've been hearing about Gary Cypres' sports memorabilia collection. Now, we'll get to see it.

The west coast gets its own sports memorabilia palace when the Los Angeles Sports Museum opens the day after Thanksgiving.

After years of appointment only viewing, super collector Gary Cypres is taking his collection public. The east coast native has something from just about every type of collecting interest; from game used jerseys to antique football helmets to a T206 Honus Wagner, clearly one of his favorites.

The museum tells the story of sports but despite encompassing over 30,000 square feet, there is plenty of room to grow. Read the story in the LA Times and check out the video.
