Tiger Woods 2008 U.S. Open shirt from third roundYou won't find his Sunday red model, but three of Tiger Woods' 2008 US Open-worn golf shirts have been signed and sealed away, awaiting a deep pockets buyer.

On the heels of Tiger Woods’ stunning, come-from-behind victory at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio, and hours away from the 2009 U.S. Open at Bethpage Black in New York, Upper Deck Authenticated is offering up some pricey souvenirs of Woods' victory at the 2008 Open.

The company secured the golf shirts worn by Tiger during the first three rounds last year at Torrey Pines, got their spokesman to sign them and is now offering them for sale at $30-50,000 each. A portion of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to the Tiger Woods Foundation.

Not only is this the first time that tournament-worn items of Tiger’s have been offered from a Major in which he won, but the shirts are tied to what the player and golf writers alike have called among his greatest victories ever. Woods snatched victory away from a feisty Rocco Mediate while battling a knee injury that would require surgery not long after the tournament.

“As Tiger’s exclusive autographed memorabilia partner, we are excited to offer fans a chance to own three unique pieces of sports history,” said Tim Muret, vice president of UDA, the Upper Deck Company’s memorabilia division. Woods has been a client since 2000, autographing a variety of memorabilia which is eventually sold at the UpperDeckStore.com.

Upper Deck had a video camera rolling and Tiger was willing to narrate when picking up a black marker and adding his name to the shirts.
