Hall of Famers from three sports--and a pretty good crowd-- were on hand for the latest sports card and memorabilia show in New England.

Sports fans in the Boston area recently had a chance to connect with each of the last five decades.

The Greater Boston Sports Collectors Club put on one of its bigger events in nearby Wilmington, with several big-name autograph guests joining dozens of dealers and about 5,000 collectors.

The athletes shared a few memories but not all of the guests had local ties. Robin Yount was there. So was Mike Schmidt and even Jose Canseco. The biggest draw was hoops Hall of Famer and once-reluctant autograph signer Bill Russell, who in the last several years has turned to the business to pad his income.

Tne big name had to cancel. The local paper tells us who that was and offers up some coverage.
