Hank Aaron has signed a few hundred extra special bats to help raise money for charity as he picks up an honor from Louisville Slugger.

In honor of his selection as the company's latest Living Legend honoree, Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory has produced 150 limited edition signed Hank Aaron bats.

The commemorative bat is Hank Aaron's A99 model and features two branded signatures from the two contracts he signed with Louisville Slugger. The "Henry Aaron" signature from his original 1952 contract and was used throughout his career as well as the "Hank Aaron" signature from his 1971 contract. This is the first time the "Hank Aaron" signature brand has been branded into a Louisville Slugger bat.

The bats are available for $500 with all proceeds benefitting the Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation. Each bat comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Those who purchase a bat will be invited to the 2009 Living Legend Award Celebration featuring an appearance by Aaron. The exclusive, by-invitation-only event is set for Friday Nov. 13 at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, which is also handling bat orders. The following day, Hunt Auctions will conduct its annual live auction event at the Museum.
