If you'd like to put a little something different in your front yard, baseball collector, we've got something special for you.

It's July now.

The grass in your front yard will soon be a little brown, if it's not already.

Time for something different?

Steiner Sports is rolling out (literally), a 20x20' section of grass from the old Yankee Stadium that still sports the club's famous interlocking "NY" logo.

The New York memorabilia company has listed the sod, and several other Yankee-related items from the current team and former ballpark on eBay.

Painted on the grass behind home plate, the white letters left no doubt about the ballpark in which you were sitting.

The listing reveals that Delea Sod Farms, "the official sod farm of the NY Yankees will provide instructions to properly transplant the living sod into your own yard or local ball field and maintain it for years to come".

The auction closes Tuesday, July 9. Proceeds will be directed to Family Services of Westchester (NY).
