Some of the jerseys worn during last season's historic hockey moments are now up for bid.
 The 2008-09 National Hockey League season brought an end to Markus Naslund's brilliant career and the beginning of many others. It saw record-setting hat tricks, franchise records set, and long-time milestone achievents realized.
Now, 43 of the jerseys worn by players who made their mark in a number of different ways are on the auction block.
MeiGray Group, which partners with 14 NHL teams for game-worn jerseys, is selling off the history-making shirts. The auction closes next Thursday.
Every jersey worn by the 14 NHL teams working directly with MeiGray throughout the season contains a uniquely individually numbered security tag sewn into the jersey before it is worn on the ice. The tag is equipped with covert security features.
